■ With cloud migration and zero trust advancement, SASE adoption spreads to SMEs
In recent years, with the expansion of cloud utilization and remote work, interest in SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) based on zero trust has increased. While adoption has progressed mainly among large enterprises so far, movements seeking both security enhancement and operational efficiency are accelerating recently even among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). On the other hand, it is not realistic to implement complex configurations and high-priced SASE as they are under limited personnel and cost constraints. An "appropriately sized SASE" suitable for SMEs is exactly what is needed right now.

■ High-functionality, high-priced SASE diverges from on-site operations
While existing SASE solutions are highly functional, license costs and configuration complexity act as barriers to adoption. Especially in SMEs, there are many cases where they have no choice but to use existing VPNs concurrently for the time being. In addition, there are quite a few SASE solutions that cannot fully accommodate realistic operational requirements such as communication between bases and systems. Meanwhile, the risk of "shadow IT" is high in SMEs, requiring prompt response. As a result, a significant gap has emerged between the "ideal security concept" and the "mechanism realizable on site."

■ Explaining implementation patterns for SMEs, including existing VPN coexistence and shadow IT identification
This seminar will explain realistic SASE implementation patterns for SMEs, advancing zero trust in phases while maintaining existing VPN networks and shared account operations. It will also introduce "KAMOME SASE," which narrows down to the features necessary for SMEs, raising security levels while keeping costs down. Furthermore, it will present flexible configuration examples, such as accommodating communication between bases and systems. It is content that specifically shows "SASE operations that the field can start today," rather than idealism.
