MAISON CACAO (Founder: Shingo Ishihara), a nama chocolate brand originating in Kamakura, is launching a limited edition "Aroma Nama Chocolate WISH," made with brown sugar from Okinawa's Hateruma Island to celebrate Tanabata, one of Japan's five seasonal festivals, as part of its "Shiki to Maison" (Seasons and Maison) initiative that celebrates Japan's unique seasonal charms. It will be available from Wednesday, July 1st to Tuesday, July 7th. This year, it will be delivered in two colors, light indigo and deep blue, designed by the handmade Japanese paper studio "Nao Tesuki Washi." May your wishes soar high and come true.

"Aroma Nama Chocolate WISH" (16 pieces) (Tax included: 3,240 yen)

Tanabata, one of Japan's five seasonal festivals, is a day to make wishes to the stars once a year.

Inside the package, which expresses the starry sky, is nama chocolate made with brown sugar from Hateruma Island, Japan's southernmost island, famous as a prime stargazing spot and also known as "Starfall Island." Among the many brown sugars from Okinawa, Hateruma Island's is rich in minerals and characterized by a slightly bitter, adult taste. It is caramelized to enhance its aroma and blended with milk chocolate to create a soft flavor.

<About MAISON CACAO>

Maison Cacao's history began when its founder, Shingo Ishihara, inspired by the rich daily life with cacao he encountered in Colombia, opened its flagship store in the cultural city of Kamakura. Our mission is to create unprecedented deliciousness with Japanese sensibility and creativity, and to establish a chocolate culture in Japan that not only tastes good but also enriches people's lives. To achieve this, we are involved in all processes from cacao cultivation to fermentation and roasting in Colombia, aiming to create high-quality chocolate while fostering connections between producers and customers. We are also committed to educational activities in Colombia through cacao farming and school establishment to realize a sustainable society and future prosperity.
