(Headquarters: Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) announces that its 'Kimono Tea Ceremony MAIKOYA' Kyoto Karasuma Shijo store (220 Itoyacho, Bukkoji-dori Shinmachi Higashi-iru, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) will launch a new plan to celebrate anniversaries, the "Proposal Plan," starting Monday, June 1st.

This plan, which begins with kimono dressing, offers a private tea room in a Kyoto machiya exclusively for the couple.

We support your precious moment with an authentic tea ceremony experience in a historic setting and professional photography by a professional photographer.

Additionally, we offer various gifts and albums incorporating Japanese Shinto wedding culture. We assist in creating a once-in-a-lifetime memory on the serene stage of a Registered Tangible Cultural Property, where tradition breathes.

① Host Support

The dressing rooms are separated for men and women. During dressing, the host will inquire about your proposal plans.

② Kimono Dressing

A kimono dresser will dress you in a kimono chosen from various colors and patterns. Hair styling is also included for women.

Various colors and patterns of kimonos and accessories are displayed in the dressing room.

③ Tea Ceremony Experience

A private tea room in a Registered Tangible Cultural Property is reserved. Enjoy a traditional tea ceremony in a quiet space just for the two of you. Afterwards, the proposal will take place according to the pre-arranged flow.

④ Professional Photography

Photography by a professional photographer experienced in kimono and anniversary shoots. 50 edited data will be sent within one week.

You can enjoy the traditional tea room and garden scenery.

⑤ Celebratory Gifts

Various gifts incorporating Japanese Shinto wedding culture and traditional crafts are available.

At 'Samurai Ninja Museum with Experience,' in addition to exhibiting armor and swords from various eras, we offer various samurai and ninja-related experiences such as sword training in hakama, shuriken throwing in ninja attire, and blowgun experiences.
