'STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT' Trailer Unveils the Harsh 'γ (Gamma) World Line' Additional Route

MAGES. Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Makoto Asada) has released the latest 'Introduction Trailer' for the hypothetical science adventure 'STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT', scheduled for release on Thursday, August 20, 2026, featuring the new story depicted in this title.

<γ (Gamma) World Line — [Hououin Kyouma] Does Not Exist There>

The introduction trailer for the new story depicted in 'STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT' has been released on the official website and YouTube.

This is the implementation of the 'γ (Gamma) World Line' story, which was not depicted in the 'STEINS;GATE' released in 2009, as an additional route in 'RE:BOOT'.

[Additional Route Overview] A new world line into which the protagonist, Rintaro Okabe, is sent after repeated harsh situations. In this world line, the time machine has not been completed, and even the D-Mail to change the past does not exist. Greatly diverging from previous world lines, Okabe, unable to grasp the situation, rushes to the lab for help, but is met with hostile glares from the lab members who should be bound by strong bonds——.

In this additional route, the story of the 'γ World Line' is depicted, where 'Hououin Kyouma', the driving force of the main story, is not born, and Okabe gets his hands dirty alongside Moeka Kiryu, facing loneliness and despair.

A harshness of a different quality than before confronts Rintaro Okabe, and the player.
