New Ladies' Line for "Libelula" Appears

In time for this year's Mother's Day, Maehara Koei Shoten has added a new ladies' line to its popular men's umbrella series, "Libelula."

"Libelula" is a special name combining "Libelula," which means dragonfly in Spanish, with "Koei" from the founder Koei Maehara's name, and "Gloria" (glory). It represents a new form of elegance, fusing the tradition and pride inherited by Maehara Koei Shoten, founded in 1948, with modern sensibility and sophistication. That is "Libelula."

Its charm lies in its subtle design, with the brand's dragonfly logo delicately placed near the edge of the fabric.

In contrast to the profound, black-based men's line of Libelula, the ladies' line features light and elegant bright colors. By using beige threads for the warp in the fabric, a gentle, glossy gradation appears along the curved surface when the umbrella is opened.

The product will be sold in both long umbrella and folding umbrella variations.

Since beige threads are used as the base, it's easy to match with any outfit, making it a delightful addition to rainy day attire.
