With the theme of "Japanese calendar and the nature of the four seasons," it provides a play space that stimulates children's five senses and enriches their hearts and sensibilities, with approximately 2,000 participants to date.
This time, as a special Golden Week edition, based on the concept of "Rikka" (the beginning of summer according to the traditional calendar), a total of nine diverse programs, more than usual, will be offered. A colorful "Fabric Maze" that flutters in the wind, which has become a symbol of this event, will appear in the Central Square, allowing children to visually feel the direction of the wind. ■ Diverse Programs Unique to Azabudai Hills that Stimulate Children's Five Senses
Since April 2025, Azabudai Hills "FAMILY GREEN Atelier," which has been developed mainly on the lawn square in front of the Azabudai Hills orchard, has been attended by approximately 900 groups and 2,000 people to date. This time, as a special Golden Week edition, with the cooperation of the city's community, including commercial stores within Azabudai Hills, we will deliver even more diverse programs.
◇Fabric Maze
A giant maze where five colors of organza, matching the colors of the calendar, flutter in the fresh green wind. The thin, light fabric spreads across the entire square, creating new colors when overlapped and beautifully catching the transmitting sunlight. Children can run through the gaps in the fabric, reach out their hands, and feel the colors and wind with their whole bodies, enjoying a sense of unity with nature while paying attention to the direction of the wind.

An atelier inspired by the sky and clouds will emerge directly under Azabudai Hills' iconic large roof, "The Cloud." The design of "The Cloud" is inspired by "hanging clouds," round clouds floating in the sky due to large wind currents. Children can sit, lean, or sometimes lie down on soft, cloud-like balloons and slowly look up at the sky.
