On Saturday, June 13, 2026, we will host the 'Shizugawa Night Market: Early Summer Gathering' at the special venue within the Minamisanriku Sun Sun Shopping Village at Roadside Station Minamisanriku. The 'Shizugawa Night Market' aims to be an event where everyone, from adults to children, can enjoy a fun night out. It features market-exclusive gourmet food, free activities for children, and dance performances by local teams, making it a perfect outing for the whole family. Ten shops from both inside and outside the town will gather at the venue, offering a variety of foods such as gapao rice, pizza, tom yum chicken sandwiches, omelet noodles, crepes, and shaved strawberries. Furthermore, shops within the Minamisanriku Sun Sun Shopping Village will hold 'special evening business hours.' With shooting games, raffles, children's menus, and market-exclusive food, these special one-day plans will liven up the venue. Additionally, a special booth by the Minamisanriku Town Restaurant Association will feature original menus created specifically for this day. It is a highly anticipated event where you can enjoy 'Minamisanriku night gourmet' that tastes different from the daytime. At the venue, we will hold participatory events that can be enjoyed for free, such as a 'Night Market Stamp Rally' for elementary school students and younger, and 'Daruma-san ga Koronda' (Red Light, Green Light). Furthermore, powerful dance performances by the Minamisanriku Dance School and music production by 'DJ island' are also planned.
