Minamisanriku Town Tourism Association Completely Renews Educational Travel Website! Newly Opened as a Corporate Site for Businesses, Local Governments, and Inbound Groups

The Minamisanriku Town Tourism Association (Minamisanriku-cho, Motoyoshi-gun, Miyagi Prefecture) has completely renewed its conventional educational travel website, and a new site with enhanced information for corporations and organizations was launched on April 28, 2026. Features of the Renewal The previous site primarily focused on educational travel information targeting students. However, in response to the diversifying needs in recent years, the site's structure and content have been revamped to accommodate a wide range of groups, including corporate and local government training, inbound foreign groups, and inquiry-based learning at private schools. ① Systematization of programs cultivated through educational travel for corporations Based on the experiential programs previously offered to students, they have been reconfigured to meet the training needs of corporations and local governments. This allows for flexible provision of highly practical and hands-on learning tailored to the target audience. ② Integration of three areas: "Students, Corporations, and Inbound Visitors" In addition to the traditional student-focused content, the site now features "inquiry-based learning programs," "training for corporations and local governments," and "inbound training travel for foreigners" on a single platform. Information that was previously separated by target audience has been integrated, creating a structure that broadly disseminates Minamisanriku's learning opportunities. ③ Added conditional search function A conditional search function has been implemented on the educational travel and experiential learning pages, which feature over 40 programs. This allows users to narrow down programs that meet their needs, such as experience content, number of participants, fees, and required time. Through this renewal, the Minamisanriku Town Tourism Association will not only cater to school groups but also promote the provision of regional value centered on "learning" and "exchange," contributing to sustainable community development and the creation of a diverse engaged population.
