The Minamisanriku Town Tourism Association will hold an outreach experience event at the science experience facility IMAGINUS in Suginami-ku, Tokyo, during Golden Week from Monday, May 4 to Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Minamisanriku Town is a treasure trove of rare fossils, including "the world's oldest ichthyosaur fossil" and "enigmatic nautiloid fossils." This limited-time experience program and mini-workshop will be held in connection with this "fossil town."
