Luxury Card Strengthens Infrastructure to Meet Domestic Travel Demand of the New Affluent: Now Available at All Japanese Airports with Lounges

Luxury Card (Japan HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Nozomi Kikuchi), the first in Japan to adopt Mastercard's top-tier 'World Elite' class and supported by business owners and young new affluent members for its unique experience value, expanded its domestic partner airport lounge network to all airports in March 2026. With this expansion, members can now use the services at all domestic airports where lounges are installed, with up to one companion free of charge.

### Background of Service Expansion: Active Domestic Travel Demand Among the New Affluent

Luxury Card has been continuously strengthening its travel benefits, including the expansion of airport lounges, to make the busy schedules of business owners (who account for about 70% of members) stress-free and to enhance the active consumption behavior unique to the new affluent class.

Contributing to these efforts, a 2025 usage trend survey showed that transaction volume at merchants in domestic airport facilities increased to 146% compared to the previous year. By airport, usage amounts at regional airports such as Kumamoto, Hiroshima, and Miyazaki have also increased at the same level as urban areas, indicating an increasing trend in domestic travel demand among the wealthy overall.

### Domestic Airport Lounges Available (Free)

With this expansion, the foundation has been set to provide consistent high-quality service regardless of the region of travel, covering all airports with lounges in Japan. In addition to free drinks and free browsing of newspapers and weekly magazines, internet connectivity and flight information are also provided. One companion can also use the service for free.
