[Event Announcement] The Transformation Brought by AI: What is the Foundation Supporting Business in the AI Era?

Lumen Technologies K.K. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Noriomi Imanishi, hereinafter referred to as Lumen) will hold an event on Thursday, June 18, 2026, to explain the foundations supporting business in the AI era from a security perspective.

This event, themed "The Transformation Brought by AI," will introduce the ideal state of next-generation infrastructure and networks centered on security. Lumen, a network leader in the AI era, will explain its global AI-ready security strategy, the activities of Black Lotus Labs (responsible for threat intelligence), and the impact of the explosive spread of AI Agents on networks, infrastructure, and security.

We will also invite Mynet Inc., which develops and operates various games, to present actual case studies on how they balance development efficiency through AI utilization with security measures to protect their business.

Security in the Game Industry: Defense to Consider in the AI Era

In 2018, Mynet Inc., which handles the secondary market for mobile games, experienced a security incident. This presentation will explain the process of introducing Orca Security's CNAPP as a fundamental measure to improve the security of their service environment. It will also address how to deal with new security risks associated with the business use of generative AI, and attack methods on mobile apps that have become easily executable through the misuse of generative AI, along with their countermeasures.

New Security Threats Brought by AI and Preparation for Them

While the evolution of AI significantly advances operational efficiency and decision-making, it also creates new security threats with unprecedented characteristics. In addition to long-term attacks such as misinformation generation (hallucination), learning data contamination (poisoning), and biased judgments against large language models, the misuse of autonomous AI that makes decisions and acts independently is also manifesting as security loopholes. Human response to such threats has its limits, and security requires a shift from an approach based on human judgment. In this session, based on the knowledge of Black Lotus Labs, which conducts threat research, we will present changes in AI-era attacks and a future-proof security design philosophy.
