Rediscovering the Charms of Western Japan Through Art: 'Nishi Nippon ARTrail' Spring 2026 Season to be Held

JR West SC Development Co., Ltd. (Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative Director and President: Yasushi Takenaka), which operates the fashion building "LUCUA Osaka" directly connected to JR Osaka Station, is developing the "Nishi Nippon ARTrail" project to connect art festivals and design events in the Western Japan area and rediscover the region's charm through art.

This third installment will collaborate with notable art festivals and design events held in Western Japan in Spring 2026. Through the issuance of an original magazine, special exhibitions, and the distribution of digital content, the project proposes experiences that make people "want to walk the streets" in their travels and daily lives, starting with art.

▶Nishi Nippon ARTrail Spring 2026 Season

This project will collaborate with art festivals and design events held in Western Japan in Spring 2026 and will develop various programs.

As its central content, an original magazine "ARTrail magazine" will be produced and sold. In addition to introducing the collaborating art festivals and design events, it will delve deeper into the cities with themes like "Osaka's streets" and "Kyoto's alleys." The magazine contains content that makes you want to explore the streets of Osaka and Kyoto directly, not just read about them.

Furthermore, a special exhibition centered on "ARTrail magazine" will be held at Umeda Tsutaya Books on the 9th floor of LUCUA 1100. In addition to selling "ARTrail magazine" and original goods, Umeda Tsutaya Books will curate related books, further expanding the enjoyment of art festivals and city walks.

Additionally, at "Art Book Osaka," which will be held at Seaside Studio CASO on May 30th (Saturday) and 31st (Sunday), a special booth for this project will be set up to sell the magazine and other items.
