Battle of Unique Rule Quizzes with 'Zero Historical Knowledge' at Okayama Castle: Win a Real Armor Experience, Lose a Fake Armor Experience Tour

LUCUA Osaka, a fashion building directly connected to Osaka Station operated by JR West SC Development Co., Ltd. (Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka City / President and CEO: Yasushi Takenaka), will hold an experiential tour "Otoboke Bushō Narikiri Tour in Okayama" set in Okayama Castle and Hayashibara Museum of Art on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

This tour is the second installment of "Narikiri Tours," a travel series planned by LUCUA Osaka that allows participants to immerse themselves in a local area by "becoming someone else," stepping away from their everyday titles and roles. It's an "unequal" dispatch experience where participants challenge games filled with "unique rules" that require no historical knowledge whatsoever, and their attire, ranging from authentic armor to fake armor T-shirts, is determined by their performance.

From an O/X quiz battle held in the exclusively reserved front square of Okayama Castle keep, a special exhibition guided tour at the Hayashibara Museum of Art enjoyed in character costume, a night tour of the exclusively reserved castle keep, and dinner at Korakuen — step away from the daily grind of seeking correct answers, shed your titles, and enter the historical space of Okayama. We offer such an "Otoboke Bushō (comical warlord) experience for adults."

POINT①｜Zero historical knowledge is OK. A quiz battle full of unique rules.

What's needed is not knowledge, but "the desire to become the character." Enjoy quizzes that don't require knowledge, such as a buzzer quiz where you can only answer if you shout "Moushiagemasu!" (I beg to report!), and an O/X battle in the exclusively reserved front square of the castle keep.

POINT②｜An "unequal dispatch experience" with a chance for a coup d'état, where rank and attire are decided by performance.

Your role and attire will be determined by the game's results. Top performers will wear authentic armor, while those who didn't perform well will wear fake armor. However, there might be a chance for a comeback!? Because it's the Sengoku period, after all.

POINT③｜Solo participants welcome. A journey where you shed your titles and can become "comrades-in-arms" even with strangers.

The staff who planned the tour will accompany you as vassals (guides), creating a bond like "comrades-in-arms" by the time you return. This is such a tour.

▶Background of the Project

"Narikiri Tours" is an experiential tour project launched by LUCUA Osaka in January 2026. By "becoming someone else" and immersing oneself in the land, it proposes a new tourism experience that combines local culture with a sense of playfulness, allowing participants to naturally experience local culture even without prior knowledge. Following the first installment, "Otoboke Ninja Narikiri Tour in Shiga," held in March, the second installment takes place in the authentic historical spaces of Okayama Castle and Hayashibara Museum of Art. In addition to a day trip, an overnight plan is also available, and by setting the meeting point in Okayama, participants can enjoy their stay at their own pace, including the time before and after the tour.
