LuckyFes Continues to Feature KAIHO! 12 Types of "Lucky Monsters" to Appear as Balloons and Costumes, Creating a Theme Park-like Experience

LuckyFM Ibaraki Broadcasting Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) is pleased to announce that the acclaimed artist KAIHO, known for their unique worldview utilizing special effects makeup, will serve as the creative director for the art domain of LuckyFes'26. The event will be held for four consecutive days from Saturday, August 8 to Tuesday, August 11 (holiday) at Hitachi Seaside Park. This marks KAIHO's third consecutive year as creative director.

LuckyFes champions "A Celebration of Art" as one of its core themes, developing a space akin to a theme park where attendees can enjoy art by new generation artists. KAIHO, as creative director, pursues their unique worldview through works in special effects makeup, graphics, and art direction, having provided services for numerous artists including King Gnu, Vaundy, Official Hige Dandism, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, yama, ALI, and Fujii Kaze.

At the LuckyFes venue, original characters "Lucky Monsters," conceived by KAIHO, will appear as large balloons. Furthermore, some of these Lucky Monsters will parade through the venue, enhancing the theme park atmosphere.

Additionally, a merchandise shop will be open at the venue again this year. This year's offerings include two types of T-shirts, two types of keychains, and towels. We encourage you to find your favorite merchandise and enjoy a fun time not only on the day of LuckyFes but also afterwards.
