LRM Corporation (Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Representative Director: Tetsuya Kōmatsu, hereinafter "LRM"), a provider of the security education cloud "Securio" and security consulting services, will hold a "Cyber Attack Countermeasures Seminar (Business Briefing and Cyber Attack Countermeasures Practical Exercise)" for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Aichi Prefecture, as part of the "Cybersecurity Countermeasures Support Project" commissioned by the prefecture. The seminar will be held in Nagoya City on August 6, 2026 (Thu).

This seminar is one of the initiatives of the aforementioned project conducted by Aichi Prefecture, and LRM is responsible for its planning and operation.

In addition to explanations of the latest security trends by experts, participants will gain practical experience in how to prevent cyberattacks and initial response measures to minimize damage through tabletop exercises (group work) simulating actual security incidents.

Background of the Initiative: Cyberattack Targets Shift from Large Corporations to SMEs in the Supply Chain

Aichi Prefecture is a major hub for manufacturing industries, including the automotive sector. In the past, cyberattacks originating from SMEs, which are business partners, have led to production stoppages across the entire supply chain within the prefecture.

In recent years, major corporations are increasingly scrutinizing the security measures of their entire supply chains, including their business partners, and are reviewing transactions with companies whose measures are insufficient. For SMEs, cybersecurity measures are now a critical management issue directly linked to business continuity and maintaining business relationships.

Furthermore, with the spread of AI, attack methods are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Techniques that bypass system defenses and target employees' "judgment" are becoming mainstream. To prepare for such threats, it is essential for each individual to understand the latest attack methods and be able to take appropriate initial actions when necessary.

LRM opened its Nagoya office in April 2026 and has been supporting the development of security systems for companies and organizations in the Chubu region.

Through this seminar, we aim to enhance the security awareness and response capabilities of SMEs in the prefecture.

What You Can Learn at This Seminar

"I opened a suspicious email" - What should you do first when you receive such a report from an employee? Many cyberattacks that lead to significant damage often begin with a single email. The scale of the damage is greatly influenced by the initial actions taken (initial response).

At this seminar, you will practically learn the following three points:

Latest "Security Landscape" and Specific "Cyberattack Methods"

Concrete "Initial Response" Strategies During Incident Occurrence

"Visualization" of Your Company's Security Status Through Interaction with Other Companies and Workshops
