Comment from Toru Kumagai:
I have been living in Germany since 1990, continuing to cover and live there for over 35 years. Based on this experience, I will report on European politics, economy, society, and culture. Focusing on security, environment, energy, historical perceptions, and differences in working styles between Japan and Germany, I will also shed light on values and working styles appearing in everyday life, and share topics found on the streets. I hope this newsletter will be read by those interested in European politics, economy, society, and culture, and those who wish to know the true reality of Europe that is not sufficiently covered by Japanese media.
