To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the innovative lighting design «System PH», developed by Poul Henningsen in 1926, Louis Poulsen announces the <PH Centenary Collection>. This collection, featuring the heritage aesthetic of aged brass finish and a special re-release of the <PH Chandelier>, brings a historical ambiance to any space.

**System PH 100th Anniversary** 100 years ago, Poul Henningsen (1894–1967), a designer, architect, and cultural critic, developed the iconic «3-shade system». This design system, later known as «System PH», is based on a meticulously calculated shade configuration, ideal angles, and a form rooted in rationality. Even today, 100 years later, its design philosophy continues to form the core of Louis Poulsen's lighting design. To celebrate this milestone year, Louis Poulsen is announcing the <PH Centenary Collection>, comprising heritage designs by Poul Henningsen. This collection includes table lamps, floor lamps, and chandeliers.

### Heritage Table and Floor Lamps with Aged Brass Finish

The <PH 3½-2½ Floor Lamp Centenary Edition> and <PH 3/2 Table Lamp Centenary Edition> are based on models introduced in 1927 and the «3-shade system» designed by Poul Henningsen in 1926 and produced by Louis Poulsen. These models feature lacquered aged brass and combine an amber-colored top shade with an opal glass bottom shade. They spread a soft upward light while ensuring white light downwards, creating a comfortable lighting environment. These are heritage designs infused with a vintage charm.

### Revival of the PH Chandelier

Central to the Centenary Collection is the <PH 1/1 Chandelier Centenary Edition>. This model is a re-release of what was once known as the Bombardment Chandelier, which was featured in Louis Poulsen's catalog from 1933 until the mid-1960s. Developed at a time when bulb energy and electric lighting were becoming widespread, it was created for domestic use as an alternative to the then-dominant oil chandeliers with silk shades. This model features delicate hairline processing on aged brass and adopts the compact 3-shade model <PH 1/1>. The shades use dusty terracotta blown opal glass. The <PH 1/1> is the smallest size within the «System PH» and is being re-released for the first time in this collection.

The <PH 1/1 Chandelier Centenary Edition> is available in three sizes: 3-light, 6-light, and 9-light. Each product is hand-engraved with a serial number, making them collector's items offered in limited global quantities.
