Background
Comprehensive selection and school recommendation-based selection not only require preparation for entrance exams such as statements of purpose, interviews, and essays, but also assess students' interests and the activities and research they have pursued.
Furthermore, with the spread of generative AI, it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate oneself solely through writing structure and expression. This highlights the growing importance of engaging with one's own interests and research themes from an early stage.
This course provides 1st and 2nd year high school students with an opportunity to engage with the concepts required for comprehensive selection and to connect their interests to concrete themes and outputs before entering their final year of high school.
Recommended for:
1st and 2nd year high school students considering comprehensive selection and school recommendation-based selection
Those who want to start thinking about their statements of purpose and research themes early on
Those who want to challenge themselves in essay contests and business plan contests
Those who want to articulate their interests and connect them to activities and outputs
Those who want to start preparing for comprehensive selection before becoming a senior student
Notes
The classes included in this course are only those offered as part of the "2026 Summer Course for 1st and 2nd Year High School Students" organized by Loohcs Shikujuku Shibuya Main Campus. Separate charges may apply for attending classes outside the scope or period.
No refunds will be provided for days or sessions not attended, even if the actual attendance is less than the prescribed number of days/sessions. This course cannot be taken under a monthly subscription plan.
Additionally, for courses aiming for contest applications, while they provide support for creating application documents and submissions, they do not guarantee winning or passing the selection process.
