Loohcs Inc., operator of the Loohcs Juku (a school specializing in comprehensive selection and AO admissions), and the general incorporated association ALIVE, which provides Japan's largest cross-industry leadership development project, reported on the completion of the 7th EVE high school project proposal contest held on May 23 and 24. They also announced the opening of applications for the 8th session, scheduled for July 27 and 28.

The EVE project is a two-day program where high school students address real-world social issues and propose solutions through team-based activities. Held in a hybrid format in Tokyo (both in-person and online), students from across Japan can participate.

Key features of EVE: 1. Engagement with real-world issues: Working with NPOs operating on the front lines to tackle social issues as their own. 2. A safe environment for trial and experimentation: Exploring how their learning connects to society with support from the secretariat. 3. Building camaraderie: Developing cooperative relationships for the future by sharing experiences and focusing on the same themes.

In the 7th session (held May 23-24), participants proposed solutions to the NPO "Anata no Ibasho" (Your Place) with the goal of creating a society without unwanted loneliness. High satisfaction was reported by participants. The 8th session is scheduled for July 27-28.
