But I can't move forward because I haven't decided what I want to do." - For high school students like this, Loohcs Shijuku, a cram school specializing in comprehensive selection, will hold an experiential event to "experience the fun of academic fields themselves." This event aims to provide an opportunity to broaden one's interests and possibilities by encountering the fundamental enjoyment and depth of learning, rather than simply "choosing" a university as a place to advance. Through self-analysis workshops, dialogue-based academic diagnosis, and mini-lectures by current university students, we create an opportunity to realize "what it means to learn" and take the first step towards comprehensive selection.

This event is a must-see for those who think, "I want to go to university. But I can't move forward because I haven't decided what I want to do."

The theme this time is "Instead of just 'going to see' universities, let's experience the fun of academic fields themselves." Because universities are places for research and the pursuit of knowledge, the goal is to move beyond just "thinking about exams vaguely" and to foster a sense of "learning is this fun."

University entrance exams are not something painful, but a chance to broaden your interests and possibilities.

Event Program

① Self-Analysis Workshop (approx. 15 minutes)

First, start by understanding yourself.

Using tools such as value cards, we will verbalize "what you value."

Finally, dialogue with professional instructors and other participants to uncover perspectives you may not have noticed yourself.

② Academic Diagnosis (approx. 30 minutes)

Dialogue-based self-analysis that cannot be done online.

Through dialogue with instructors who have taught in various academic fields, we will explore "how your interests connect to academic fields."

③ Faculty-Specific Mini-Lectures (approx. 45 minutes)

Instructors actually studying in each field will give lectures to convey the real fun of academics.

For example, the content will include:

• "The Strongest Argument for the Faculty of Letters - Why We Must Study Humanities -" (Lecture by a student from Keio University's Faculty of Letters)

• "It's a Waste to Think of the Faculty of Law = Memorization! Unexpected Learning in the Faculty of Law" (Lecture by a student from Keio University's Faculty of Law)

We plan to introduce topics such as:

• Characteristics and learning content of faculties (e.g., Faculty of XX)

• Research themes that university students are actually working on

• Interesting research themes that also count as academics

and more.

④ Reflection (approx. 15 minutes)

Organize the insights gained during the event. We will also have you fill out a feedback sheet to lead to future actions. Within this, we will thoroughly reflect on what you realized during this event.

Additionally, we will consider together what you should do starting today to seriously begin preparing for comprehensive selection.
