Theater Company Birth's latest work! "We Love you," a human drama depicting "love" that begins with a time leap, is now selling well.

Last year saw a series of performances of representative works written in the early days of Theater Company Birth's founding: "Music Box," which depicted irreplaceable friendship, and "Wind-Blown Flower," which conveyed the warmth of family and people in Okinawa, both receiving favorable reviews as eagerly anticipated revivals.

This time, "We Love you," a new work after two years, will be staged at Yorozugekijo from May 20 (Wed) to May 24 (Sun), 2026.

This latest work is a slightly humorous and warm human drama that portrays various emotions and human relationships intertwined across time, and the theme of "love" in the "Birth" style, triggered by a sudden time leap from the present day to the Showa 40s.

The story is woven with veteran actors who have appeared in many of the theater company's works, as well as new members who joined after auditions.

"We Love you" is the latest human drama presented by Theater Company Birth, making "ordinary" daily life feel even more precious. Please come and experience this story of "love" that transcends time at the theater.

## Story

Several years into her marriage, Kotori felt vaguely anxious and gloomy about her monotonous daily life. At that time, she suddenly started working as a home helper at a friend's request. There, she met an elderly couple, the Makitas. The husband, despite his own physical limitations, was supporting his bedridden wife... One day, Kotori was offered a necklace as a token of gratitude. Although she hesitated, she couldn't refuse and accepted it for the time being. But the moment she put on the necklace... a time leap?! "Where am I?!"
