In October 2024, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation, "Yuki Yuna is a Hero" was adapted into a stage play. For this new production, Makoto Uezu has been appointed as the script supervisor, and the cast features a stellar lineup including Sakiho Motonishi, Rio Ohmori, Sayaka Harada (STU48), Azumi Okada (STU48), Yui Ito, and newly joined Rina Ikoma.

Synopsis Yuna Yuki is a second-year student at Sanshu Middle School. She is an ordinary middle schooler living a very normal daily life. If there is one slightly unusual point, it is the club she belongs to. Its name is the "Hero Club". The Hero Club is a club that courageously carries out activities for the benefit of everyone. Along with her best friend Mimori Togo, the club president Fu Inubozaki, and Fu's younger sister Itsuki, Yuna actively participates in various activities such as helping other clubs, finding foster homes for kittens, picking up trash on the beach, and providing recreation at a nursery school.

However, their unchanging, peaceful daily lives are suddenly shattered one day. Vertex—the enemies of humanity who invade to destroy the world. Yuna and her friends are chosen by the Shinju (Divine Tree), who protects the world, to fight against the Vertex. Quite literally, as heroes. Joined by a new Hero Club member, Karin Miyoshi, the five members overcome difficulties and defeat all 12 prophesied Vertexes. But that was merely the beginning of despair...
