Piccolo Yose started with a gathering by Shunpute Pikkari⭐︎ on July 22, 2012, and has held 272 performances over 14 years. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the three performers who worked hard together during their Futatsume (second rank) days, this will be the first Rakugo event held by Piccolo Yose in a large rented venue.

Tatekawa Koharushi, Shunpute Ryushi, and Chokarou Momoka, who boast top popularity and skill among young Shin'uchi (master rank) storytellers, became apprentices to their respective masters in 2006 and have continued their training while inspiring each other. Comparing their 20th anniversary since apprenticeship to a coming-of-age ceremony (Seijinshiki) for their 20th year as entertainers, a Rakugo event featuring these three was planned. To coincide with the first anniversary of the opening of the new 'PICCOLO² Piccolo Piccolo' store in Nakano following its relocation due to redevelopment in Nihonbashi, Piccolo Yose will be held in a large external venue for the first time in September.
