LIXIL Housing Research Institute, Ltd. Eyeful Home Company has determined the winning artworks for the 6th 'Dream House Art Contest' held for children elementary school age and younger.
The 'Dream House Art Contest' is a competition that calls for artwork of the 'dream house' that children think 'I want to live in a house like this' or 'It would be wonderful if there were a house like this!'. In this 6th edition, we received a total of 717 highly creative entries from all over the country. Applications were accepted in two categories: 'Coloring' and 'Drawing', and were judged by our employees and external designers. Also, specifically for this time, we welcomed Mr. Kunihiko Yahagi, a leading expert in inquiry-based learning. He evaluated the children's rich ideas from professional insights and supported the next generation's creativity from multiple angles through individual comments on the winning works.
At Eyeful Home, we engage in home building with the concept of 'Kids Design', based on children's perspectives and standards. We propose 'living where children grow = child-raising proposals' equipped with ingenuities to nurture children's creativity, independence, and curiosity. The artworks submitted this time will be utilized in the development of our next Kids Design products so that we can support and realize the rich ideas, hopes, and dreams of the children who bear the future of society.
