Takarazuka Revue’s Star Troupe will stage TAKARAZUKA MUSICAL ROMANCE Boys Over Flowers II -Shooting STAR- at Misonoza in Aichi Prefecture on Sunday, June 28, 2026. The performance will be live-viewed at cinemas across Japan. Based on Yoko Kamio’s landmark shojo manga Boys Over Flowers, the story follows Tsukasa Domyoji, heir to a major conglomerate and leader of the handsome four-member group F4 that dominates an elite school, and Tsukushi Makino, an ordinary girl who attends the same academy. The series has been adapted into live-action works in Japan and overseas, becoming a major hit. Takarazuka previously adapted the title into a musical in 2019 starring Rei Yuzuka, earning strong acclaim. The sequel, Boys Over Flowers II, is a dramatic and romantic musical portraying how the two protagonists, who finally became mutually devoted after many twists and turns in the previous work, deepen their bond while confronting numerous challenges. Led by Chisei Akatsuki and Chizuru Uta, the Star Troupe production features staging and dance numbers unique to Takarazuka Revue. Advance lottery ticket sales run from 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1.
