This renewal is not a minor revision due to product specification changes, but a fundamental review of the brand's philosophy, information design, and visual expression. We will convey the values that 'Refre' has cherished more clearly through our packaging.

Purpose of the Renewal The purpose is to express the values that the adult diaper brand 'Refre' has cherished for those receiving care, those providing care, and society as a whole through packaging design. Furthermore, based on the concept of Universal Design (UD), we have reviewed the composition of product information and visual expressions to create a packaging design system that is intuitive, easy to choose, and easy to use for everyone.

Background With the change in our brand message, it became necessary to review the entire packaging expression to convey our values more consistently. More than eight years have passed since the previous design system was built, and the information required by consumers and the way it is communicated have changed along with shifts in care environments and lifestyles. Based on this, we have built a scalable design system that organizes information, improves visibility, and anticipates future category expansion. 'Refre' will continue to convey its stance as a brand that supports the daily peace of mind and dignity of those receiving and providing care through our design.

Design Direction Centered on 'empathy for thoughts' embodied in our brand message, 'Living with every single thought,' we aimed for a packaging design that offers kindness and dignity, making the hearts of both those receiving and providing care feel a little lighter.

Features of the Packaging Design Retail Packaging: Visually expresses the philosophy and brand message of 'Refre.' The product name frame adopts the motif of the 'Refre' symbol mark, expressing the image of each thought overlapping and wrapping around. Facility/Hospital Packaging: Adopts illustration images of the 'Refre' brand message to convey thoughts even in daily care settings. We have devised ways to make colors and text easy to see, even within warehouses.

Clarity and Environmental Consideration We have designed the information to be easy for users to choose and use. By organizing product identification colors and consolidating specification information such as absorption capacity and size, we have created a design where necessary information can be grasped intuitively. We continue to use universal design fonts and have strengthened visibility through color-coded specifications. Furthermore, from an environmental perspective, we have adopted biomass ink for packaging printing.
