LIVE BOARD Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Atsuhiro Tanaka; hereinafter "LIVE BOARD") has created its original character "Raibu-Bochi." Starting July 1, 2026 (Wed), short animations featuring this character will begin airing across LB-owned media nationwide.

Background of Creation
To date, LIVE BOARD has focused on creating media that enriches people's daily lives and fosters valuable encounters, through the distribution of diverse content such as sports and art. With the launch of the "Raibu-Bochi" content, LIVE BOARD aims to make its LB-owned media even more beloved and engaging for audiences.
Concept
"Raibu-Bochi" is a curious and playful hat-shaped character that eats absolutely everything.
Fascinated by everything in the human world, Raibu-Bochi impulsively tries to eat anything it encounters.
Anyone eaten by Raibu-Bochi receives a delightful surprise.
A character designed to fit anyone, bringing joyful serendipitous encounters to everyone walking through the city.
For the illustration, LIVE BOARD enlisted Art Director Midori Manda, known for her work on numerous acclaimed projects. Ms. Manda created the character design and animation for Raibu-Bochi, embodying the unique OOH value of "serendipitous encounters"—unexpected moments that touch the heart—which LIVE BOARD holds dear.

After graduating from Tama Art University, she joined Dentsu. Alongside her work as an art director, she has created numerous character designs and picture book illustrations as an illustrator. Her major awards include ACC GOLD, ADFEST, NYADC, Dentsu Award for Excellence in Advertising, Galaxy Award, and others.

Future Outlook
Raibu-Bochi is set to expand with additional storylines and collaborations with other initiatives. LIVE BOARD aims to enrich the experience of chance encounters in urban spaces through this new content.

It first defines OTC (Opportunity to Contact)—the estimated number of people passing through a media's visibility zone (OTS: Opportunity to See), adjusted for movement direction and obstructions—and then applies visibility rates specific to each media type to estimate the actual number of people likely to see the ad (VAC).
