Our company supports April Dream, a project that makes April 1st a day to broadcast dreams. This press release is the dream of the 'Well-being Co-creation Lab'.
April 1st is 'April Dream'
Well-being Co-creation Lab,
Towards realizing a society where you can think 'I want to be me even if I am reborn'
- Co-creating places to belong and connections nationwide -
The Well-being Co-creation Lab (Representative: Saki Yamaguchi) supports the 'April Dream' project hosted by PR TIMES, and aims to realize a society where everyone can think 'I want to be me even if I am reborn,' by continuously co-creating 'places to belong' and 'connections' nationwide.
In this initiative, by combining activities that foster personal self-understanding and self-trust with community building, we will contribute to solving the issues of loneliness and division in modern society.
Our Mission and Vision
We have set our mission as creating a society where women and children can mutually support each other's happiness and challenges.
And what we aim for is
a society where everyone can think 'I want to be me even if I am reborn.'
In modern times, many people live lacking confidence in themselves, thinking 'if only I were someone different.'
That is why we view increasing the number of people who can love their lives exactly as they are, rather than denying themselves, as social value.
Social Issues: Invisible Loneliness and the Era of 'Self-Absence'
In modern Japan,
- Increasing loneliness and isolation
- Mental burden on the child-rearing generation
- Challenges in balancing women's careers and self-realization
- Amplification of self-denial due to the SNS era
Such problems are spreading.
Especially for women,
while handling multitasking as mothers, wives, and working professionals,
there is a structure that makes it easy to postpone their 'true feelings' and 'original desires.'
As a result,
a state is born where 'one is socially fulfilled, yet somehow unfulfilled.'
Our Proposal: Well-being from 'Relationships' and 'State of Being'
In response to this issue, we believe that
both 'individual state of being (self-understanding and self-trust)' and
'connections with people (community)' are necessary as the two wheels of a cart.
Not just mere skills or information, but
- Knowing oneself
- Accepting oneself
- Having a place to be at ease
Only when these are aligned can a person truly feel that they are 'living their own life.'
Past Initiatives (Past to Present)
At the Well-being Co-creation Lab, we have so far provided opportunities to foster self-trust and places for secure connections through:
- Operation of the morning activity community 'wellbe morning'
- Courses and sessions centered on self-understanding, self-trust, and self-realization
- Well-being proposals through fermentation and food
- Hosting in-person events and retreats
From the participants, we have received voices such as:
'I came to like myself'
'My hesitation in life choices disappeared'
