Lion Corporation (Representative Director and President Executive Officer: Masayuki Takemori) is committed to promoting employee health. Its initiatives have been recognized, leading to its certification as "Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations 2026 (White 500)" for the 10th consecutive year, "Sports Yell Company 2026" for the 5th consecutive year, and "Excellent Corporation for Food Education Practice 2026" for the first time.

Certification Programs Acquired for Health Promotion

(1) Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry "Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations 2026 (White 500)"

The "Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations 2026 (White 500)" program is a system established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi to recognize corporations that are particularly excellent in practicing health and productivity management, based on initiatives tailored to regional health issues and health promotion efforts advanced by the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. Our company has been certified for 10 consecutive years since the program's inception in 2017.

At our company, we operate on the fundamental belief that employee health is "a management foundation that supports the sound growth of the company," and we have set forth our management vision: "To become a leading company in next-generation healthcare." To realize "healthcare for the mind and body" for each individual, the company, employees, and health insurance association work together, centered on "Health Guidelines," to support the habituation of healthy behaviors such as lifestyle improvement, oral health, mental health measures, and cancer prevention.

This year, we further introduced "training on gender-specific health issues" into our new employee training. This training was made accessible to general employees in a hybrid online and in-person format, further promoting employees' health literacy and fostering an organizational culture that respects diversity. In terms of safety, we strengthened measures to prevent fall accidents by utilizing a physical function measurement app, and in terms of food, we are implementing multifaceted environmental improvements such as promoting healthy eating in collaboration with catering service providers. In addition, leveraging our expertise, we provide opportunities for educational activities that enable everyone to perform oral healthcare anytime, and information provision on oral healthcare during disasters, focusing on dissemination activities. These activities, which connect employees' healthy behaviors to the resolution of a wide range of social issues, have been highly evaluated as our company's advanced initiatives.

(2) Japan Sports Agency "Sports Yell Company 2026"

The "Sports Yell Company" is a certification program established by the Japan Sports Agency in 2017 to support companies that are committed to supporting and promoting sports activities for the purpose of improving employee health. Our company has been certified for the 5th consecutive year this year, receiving a Bronze certification.

Our company is a member of the Japan Sports Agency's "Sport in Life Consortium" and, in collaboration with the health insurance association, organizes walking events, disseminates information on tips to increase physical activity, and continues cultural and athletic club activities for over 40 years. In addition, our rugby team "Fangs" releases fall prevention stretching videos and conducts lessons. We also encourage sports both inside and outside the company, such as sponsoring walking events for the general public and holding rugby schools for children in Chiba Prefecture and Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. These continuous efforts have been recognized, leading to our certification as "Sports Yell Company 2026."

(3) Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries "Excellent Corporation for Food Education Practice 2026"

In the "Excellent Corporation for Food Education Practice Award System" newly established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries this year, our company was certified as one of the記念すべき第1回の "Excellent Corporation for Food Education Practice 2026." This system recognizes corporations that promote health improvement and dietary habit improvement through food education for employees, amidst the growing trend of simplified eating habits and decreased vegetable intake among young people, which highlight "disordered adult eating habits."

At our company, we have established an environment in cafeterias at six business sites nationwide where employees, including non-regular employees, can choose affordable and healthy meals, practicing "adult food education" in the workplace. At some business sites, the catering committee and the oral science research department collaborate to introduce "chewing power-up lunches" devised by employees.

Furthermore, we continue to acquire and renew "Smart Meal certification," which is excellent in nutritional balance, and are currently promoting the company-wide deployment of this know-how. In addition, we use recycled plastic from toothbrush recycling for cafeteria trays, utilizing the dining space as an opportunity to experience sustainability. Our unique initiatives, "food education utilizing oral science knowledge" and "balancing environmental consideration and health maintenance," have been highly evaluated.
