Easy Hot Water Filling with One Smartphone: HomeLink App Now Supports Paloma Water Heaters

Link Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shinichi Kawachi; hereinafter "the Company"), which develops and provides a home IoT platform, has partnered with Paloma Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President and Representative Director: Yoshiyasu Nakayama; hereinafter "Paloma") to launch a service that allows users to operate Paloma's water heater remote controls via the Company's smart home integration app "HomeLink".

This service is realized through functional integration between Paloma's water heater operation app "Attaka Hotto Kyuto" and the Company's "HomeLink" app. This is the first collaboration between Paloma, the largest water heater manufacturer in Japan, and the Company, and will evolve daily hot water life into a more convenient and smart "next-generation daily life" using the latest IoT technology.

Features of this collaboration
Paloma's "Attaka Hotto Kyuto" app is a service that allows remote setting of "automatic hot water filling" and "bath reservation" by operating a water heater remote control compatible with wireless LAN from a smartphone.

Now, the "Attaka Hotto Kyuto" app and the Company's "HomeLink" app have been linked. This enables the same operations as the "Attaka Hotto Kyuto" app to be performed from the "HomeLink" app.

In addition, the water heater usage status is visualized on the app screen, naturally promoting energy-saving behavior in daily life.

The "HomeLink" app supports a wide range of home appliances and housing equipment, including not only water heater remote controls but also air conditioners, blinds, floor heating, and electronic locks. Since other manufacturers' devices that cannot be covered by Paloma's dedicated app can also be operated from the same app, it allows a variety of uses tailored to each user's lifestyle and needs.

Paloma water heaters that are compatible with the "Attaka Hotto Kyuto" app can be added to the "HomeLink" app.
