Liquor Mountain Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kyoto City), a liquor specialty store chain with 203 locations nationwide, will open "THE MACALLAN KARUIZAWA," a limited-time pop-up event where visitors can experience the world of the global Scotch whisky brand "The Macallan," starting today, May 1 (Friday), 2026, at the Liquor Mountain Old Karuizawa Ginza Street store in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture.

The Fusion of Karuizawa's Tranquil Time and "The Macallan"

Karuizawa, Japan's representative summer resort. Located on the historic Old Karuizawa Ginza Street, this venue is a suitable space for savoring the essence of whisky in a slowly flowing time. The luxurious lounge specially set up on the second floor, inspired by The Macallan's iconic distillery, invites visitors on an extraordinary journey.

Special Experiences Offered by "THE MACALLAN KARUIZAWA"

Tasting Experience Utilizing Tasting Notes To help guests deeply understand the complex and rich aroma and taste of The Macallan, a paid tasting experience using special tasting notes will be offered. This provides a luxurious learning experience.

New Product Pairing Event To commemorate the launch of the 5th edition of "The Macallan Harmony Collection," a special pairing experience will be held. This product was inspired by the taste and aroma of "Phoenix Honey Orchid" from the prestigious British tea brand "JING TEA." At the venue, this product will be offered as a set with its inspiring tea leaves, proposing an unprecedented luxurious drinking experience where whisky and tea resonate.

Event period: Every Saturday and Sunday from June 12 (Sat) until the end date.

"Special Tasting Seminar" by Global Ambassador A special seminar will be held with The Macallan Global Ambassador GAKU. Enjoy an extraordinary whisky experience with deep learning utilizing tasting notes.

Special Sale of Rare Limited Lineup We will offer a wide selection of rare limited bottles, including high-aged products such as "The Macallan Sherry Oak 25 Years Old," which are usually difficult to obtain. Customers who purchase high-aged products during the period will also receive a "Drink Ticket" that can be enjoyed at the bar corner.

Liquor Mountain Store Collaboration Project

To commemorate the event, customers who purchase eligible Suntory whiskies for a specified amount or more at selected Liquor Mountain stores will receive a "Free Tasting Ticket" that can be used at this pop-up event.
