LIFESCAPES Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Junichi Ushiba; hereinafter LIFESCAPES), a company developing medical devices using Brain-Machine Interface (BMI) technology, announces that it will exhibit at the global tech event 'GITEX ASIA 2026' to be held in Singapore in April 2026. In addition, the company has been selected as a semi-finalist in the 'SUPERNOVA PITCH COMPETITION', a pitch event held within the same event where leading startups from around the world compete. As a brain-tech startup originating from Japan, we will accelerate social implementation in the global market.

## Background of participating in 'GITEX ASIA 2026': Accelerating expansion into the Asian market
'GITEX ASIA' is the Asian version of one of the world's leading technology events, 'GITEX', and is a crucial hub for entering the Asian market, gathering technology leaders and investors from over 110 countries. Following its selection at the 'WE AT CHALLENGE', which aims to be one of Asia's largest well-being festivals, LIFESCAPES will participate in this event together with its ecosystem partner, the general incorporated association WE AT. We will promote the building of partnerships toward the social implementation of our BMI (Brain-Machine Interface) rehabilitation in the Asian market, where there are many patients suffering from motor paralysis.

The 'SUPERNOVA PITCH COMPETITION' is one of GITEX's largest pitch events, where leading startups from various countries compete on their originality. LIFESCAPES has been internationally recognized for its proprietary BMI technology that unlocks brain plasticity and its effectiveness as a solution for stroke rehabilitation, a serious social issue, leading to its selection as a semi-finalist from among startups gathered worldwide. At the pitch on the first day of the event, we aim to advance to the finals, which only the top 10 companies can reach.
