■ It all started with DeNA's "AI Utilization 100 Knock"

The inspiration came from DeNA Co., Ltd.'s "AI Utilization 100 Knock," released in December 2025. We observed the company's initiative, which promoted "AI All-in" and shared 100 real trial-and-error cases from employees daily on X, finally compiling them into slides. We thought, "We want to do this in the construction industry too."

Our company, which operates the Construction AI Management Study Group, is a housing company in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. For the past three months, employees in design, sales, construction, and accounting have been testing how to integrate AI into their work. By compiling these into a "100 Knock" format, we were able to reflect on what we have done, and we hope it can be a hint for others who are taking their first steps. Following DeNA's example, we are making this publicly available.

■ AI utilization is still in development

To be honest, AI utilization has not progressed smoothly. We are at a stage where some standard practices have emerged after repeatedly "trying it -> failing -> fixing it." Our position is that these 100 cases are not polished, complete products, but rather a record of the current state.

Also, effective usage changes daily due to AI tool specification changes and model evolution.

We would like to inform you in advance that the appropriate methods for the cases compiled this time may change in six months or a year.

■ Current state of the construction industry

For reference, a survey conducted in March 2026 by our "Construction AI Management Study Group" targeting 53 executives in the construction industry revealed that about 90% (90.6%) of companies have not been able to deploy AI company-wide, and "not knowing where to start" (51.0%) was the biggest barrier.

We ourselves have long been stuck at this very point of "where to start." The "100 Knock" format is a record of our trial and error, and we also hope it can serve as a reference for others who are stuck at the same point and are looking to take their first step.

■ Origin of the idea

This document is inspired by DeNA Co., Ltd.'s "AI Utilization 100 Knock" (https://fullswing.dena.com/pdf/AI_100tips_slide.pdf), released in December 2025. While respecting their efforts, we present our findings for the construction industry.
