'Shaping Your Thoughts and Stories' — Delivering Legacies to Loved Ones in the Present, Past, and Future

The Life DX Promotion Association is proud to participate in 'April Dream,' an initiative turning April 1st into a day for sharing dreams. This press release outlines our dream of establishing a system to preserve and deliver life stories across generations.

In our once-in-a-lifetime journey, we encounter many important people: those living now, those who have passed, and those who will be born in the future. As proof of existence and a token of gratitude, our dream—the 'xLife Support Program EVER'—seeks to utilize digital technology to deliver 'thoughts and personal stories' across time.

In today's society, rapidly evolving through SNS and AI, there is a fear that the fundamental human feelings of caring and cherishing others may be left behind. We aim to establish a 'new culture' where everyone visualizes their loved ones and shapes their stories into digital forms to be passed on forever.

Our first step has begun. Our association consists mainly of members in their 70s and 80s, seniors who feel the weight of limited time. This initiative is our own urgent dream. Personally, there is also a strong desire to prevent our ultimate 'life data' from being monopolized by foreign tech giants like GAFAM.

### Five Gifts for Loved Ones: Start Now, Not 'Someday'
Everyone lives a limited time. Within it lies your unique story and feelings. We want to connect your story to your children, grandchildren, and the distant future. The 'EVER' support program on our life-digitizing platform 'xLife' aims to achieve this.

xLife is an all-in-one platform developed by xLife Co., Ltd. (based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, CEO Takayuki Sato). It aims for the revitalization of life's second act (age 50+) and a symbiotic society with pets, organizations, and rural areas. It integrates nearly 40 digital services required for senior life.

### What to Deliver to Present, Past, and Future Loved Ones?
Based on senior needs, we have identified what should be delivered:

1. **For the Deceased (Past): Digital Rituals and Memorials**
As we age, we feel the limitation of life and wish to properly honor ancestors and late pets. Due to the declining birthrate and post-pandemic changes, traditional funeral cultures are in crisis. We promote 'Digital Memorials' where actual rituals at temples are recorded and delivered as videos. This allows for deep reflection regardless of time and place. We currently work with four temples and aim for 100 by the end of the year. Additionally, 'Digital Headstones' allow users to visit memorials online, linked to digital museums and memoirs.

2. **For the Living (Present): Last Messages and Self-Stories**
Reflecting on major tragedies like the 1985 JAL crash or the Great East Japan Earthquake, we understand that many pass away unexpectedly. Our 'Last Message' service allows users to reserve messages for loved ones in case of unforeseen death. We also support the creation of 'Digital Memoirs' and 'Personal Museums.' These allow individuals to share their experiences and wisdom, fostering a culture of 'learning from people' even in the age of AI. We provide support programs for seniors who want to write but don't know where to start.

3. **For Future Generations: Delivering Your Legacy to 100-500 Years Ahead**
Though it may sound ambitious, we aim to pass down digital museums and memoirs to descendants centuries from now. We are also reinventing the concept of graves, which face uncertainty due to depopulation, by creating a digital infrastructure that ensures your existence is remembered forever.
