A separate type kitchen will be newly introduced to the kitchens of the private brand "CRAFT plus" series developed by Life Design Kabaya Co., Ltd. (President: Kentaro Kubota / Headquarters: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture) starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

The CRAFT plus kitchen allows users to customize the worktop and doors. Since its launch in April 2023, it has been developed in three types—island, peninsula, and I-type—as a product for users with particular tastes.

The separate type kitchen being released this time features the sink and the stove separated onto two different counters facing each other in two parallel lines, also known as a Type II kitchen or two-line kitchen. The work flow is short, and having a preparation space on each counter makes it easy for multiple people to cook together, providing a specification that combines efficiency and comfort.

In recent years, the total floor area of single-family homes has tended to shrink due to site constraints and soaring construction costs. On the other hand, there is a growing demand for a "sense of openness" and "ease of use" in the LDK (Living, Dining, Kitchen) space, making the effective use of limited space a major challenge. Given this background, Life Design Kabaya has added a separate type kitchen to its CRAFT plus private brand lineup. This new option offers a space-saving design while securing ample work space for cooking, serving, and cleaning up, thereby providing a new alternative to solve these challenges.

### New Product CRAFT plus Type II Kitchen This product allows for the customization of worktops and doors, making it possible to deliver a kitchen tailored to each individual's living space. The customization options are the same as the existing island, peninsula, and I-types. The worktop, carefully selected from high-grade materials only, can be chosen from 2 materials offering a total of 5 varieties: top-grade stainless steel or high-end artificial stone not handled by other kitchen manufacturers. Additionally, the doors, incorporating diverse trend designs, can be selected from 18 varieties across 5 series.
