Life Design Kabaya Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Kentaro Kubota / Headquarters: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture) is newly launching a separate-type kitchen under its private brand "CRAFT plus" series on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. CRAFT plus kitchens, which allow customization of the worktop and doors, have so far offered island, peninsula, and I-type models since their launch in April 2023, targeting users with specific preferences. The newly released separate kitchen, also known as a Type II or 2-row kitchen, features the sink and stove on separate counters arranged in two rows facing each other. This configuration offers short worklines and ample cooking space on each counter, making it easy for multiple people to cook together, thus combining efficiency and comfort. In recent years, detached houses have tended to have reduced floor areas due to site constraints and rising construction costs. Meanwhile, there is a demand for "openness" and "ease of use" in LDK spaces, making effective utilization of limited space a challenge. Against this backdrop, Life Design Kabaya is adding a separate-type kitchen to its private brand CRAFT plus line-up, which is space-saving yet allows for a wide workspace for tasks like cooking, serving, and cleanup, providing a new option to address these challenges.

New Product CRAFT plus Type II Kitchen
This product delivers a kitchen tailored to each individual's living space by allowing customization of worktops, doors, etc. The customization options are similar to the existing island, peninsula, and I-type models. The worktop, made from carefully selected high-grade materials, comes in two types: premium stainless steel or a high-grade artificial stone not handled by other kitchen manufacturers, with a total of 5 varieties. The doors, incorporating diverse trend designs, are available from 5 series and 18 types.
