Life Shift University (hereafter LSU: Chairman Koichiro Tokuoka, President Hideki Fujita) will launch the previously announced (*2) newly developed program, the 'Young & Silver Co-creation Place-making Capability Upgrade Course (hereafter YSC)', on May 19 and May 26 of this year.

This course is an online 'practical workshop' aimed at companies and organizations dealing with organizational challenges such as differences in values between various generations and hierarchies, as well as individuals interested in this theme.
This course is scheduled to be held continuously on an irregular basis in the future, and information will be disclosed from time to time.

[What is YSC?]
YSC is an abbreviation for the program representing the concept of Young & Silver Co-creation.
It is a practical program for the 'Co-creation' between 'Young (Blue)' and 'Silver (Veterans)'.

[Features of the YSC Course]
■ Date: Tuesday, May 19, 19:00 - 21:00 / Tuesday, May 26, 15:00 - 17:00 (Same content, participation fee 5,000 yen)
■ Features of the Course: (Please refer to the program content for details)
- Target Audience: Not limited to companies and organizations, individuals can also participate (Open format)
- Mindset Cultivation: Deepen the understanding of the philosophy of Young & Silver Co-creation, enhance human power, and contribute to organizational revitalization.
- Evolving Skill Sets: By acquiring concrete approach methods that generate dialogue capabilities, aim for higher-level 'communication skills' that are difficult to master through classroom lectures alone.
- Lead to an understanding of the current situation and improvement of dialogue capabilities through the Young & Silver Co-creation Culture Diagnosis (independently developed by LSU) and communication works.
- Provide solutions with a view to introduction and utilization in the participating companies. (e.g., Providing measures to promote intergenerational dialogue, supporting the design of internal organizational workshops, etc.)

[Background of Launching this Course]
As we enter the 100-Year Life Era and an era of population decline, the workplace environment in many companies is shifting to a place where talent of various age groups with different levels of experience work together. Along with this, the creation of added value by fusing the knowledge of different generations can be said to be an important issue for modern companies.
The most important thing is to build an organization that enhances collaborative power and exerts new synergies after mutually accepting heterogeneities, rather than creating divisions between generations.
LSU has been advocating the concept of 'Young & Silver Co-creation Power(R) (*3)', where the young (Blue) and veterans (Silver) leverage their mutual strengths to co-create.
By proposing this new program unique to our university mainly to many companies confronting organizational reform, we will support organizational revitalization that contributes to 'Corporate Transformation (CX)' beyond DX.

*1 'Young & Silver Co-creation' is a term used in areas such as digital policy in Taiwan as a general concept referring to the collaboration between the older generation and the younger generation.
