Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Yukito Higaki), Kurashiki Boseki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; Representative Director and President: Shinji Nishigaki), Liberta Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Toru Sato), and Hydesign Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President & Chief Designer: Hideo Yoshii) have signed a joint development agreement. This agreement combines the expertise and technology of these four companies to address challenges in shipyard working environments, focusing on improving the safety and security of wearers.

This joint development project, initiated by Imabari Shipbuilding's strong desire to "protect workers in shipyards from fire and extreme heat risks and reduce their physical burden" through a new work uniform renovation project, will combine the knowledge and technology of the four companies to tackle social issues in the shipbuilding industry.
