Liberaware Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture; Representative Director: Hong-kyu Min; hereinafter 'the Company'), in a joint development project with Shinmei Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Yasuhiro Kondo), has begun sales of 'Drone Porter® (Drone Porter) *¹,' a dedicated vehicle designed to maximize on-site operational efficiency and convenience for the 'IBIS2' confined space inspection drone.
This vehicle was developed with the concept of reducing travel, preparation, and dismantling times at inspection sites, providing mobility on-site, and practical convenience to bring speed to inspection tasks in harsh environments. The detailed design incorporates the inspection knowledge and know-how the Company has cultivated through numerous challenging sites. In addition to infrastructure inspections such as sewers, it is also envisioned for use in disaster dispatch, with specifications that allow for stable driving and operation even in severe conditions, thereby supporting frontline operations.
*¹ 'Drone Porter' is a registered trademark of Shinmei Kogyo Co., Ltd.
■ Main Features of Drone Porter®
① Minimize setup and dismantling time loss, reduce burden on field staff
To facilitate smooth loading and unloading of equipment necessary for inspection, the cargo area is equipped with a slide floor. Heavy equipment stored deep inside the cargo area can be pulled out directly from the rear space without needing to enter the vehicle. This reduces the man-hours required for preparation and packing up, significantly shortening the lead time until inspection begins.
② Excellent visibility and shared environment for many people to confirm on-site conditions simultaneously
Equipped with a large LCD monitor with a movable arm. Real-time footage captured by the drone can be simultaneously viewed by many stakeholders present at the site. The arm allows adjustment to an easy-to-view position, making it easier for multiple people to grasp the situation and dramatically improving the efficiency of on-site operations.
③ Equipment enabling in-vehicle setup and comfortable operation
It is equipped with a large-capacity battery that can be used up to 1000W*², a foldable table, and embedded power outlets. The 'IBIS2' and related equipment can be quickly set up inside the vehicle from a equipment bag, allowing for comfortable operation while seated, regardless of weather or surrounding environment. It also features numerous pieces of equipment focused on the 'ease of use' for field staff, such as LED work lamps to support nighttime or early morning work, and storage panels for organizing equipment.
*² Even if power consumption is 1000W or less, it may not be usable depending on the characteristics of the equipment.
■ Flexible customization available from the ordering stage
Drone Porter® can be extensively customized from the ordering stage to match the customer's specific operational flow.*³ It flexibly responds to detailed needs for each site, such as layout changes and implementation of additional equipment, to build the optimal operating environment.
*³ We may not be able to meet all requests. Please inquire via the form below for details.

■ Future Outlook
Moving forward, the Company will promote the improvement and widespread adoption of Drone Porter® based on its own operational results and customer feedback.
Furthermore, by strengthening proposals for 'emergency response specifications' (equipped with red lights and sirens, etc.) tailored to the needs of public agencies such as fire departments and police, it will provide a foundation for more rapid and effective utilization of drones in rescue and disaster response frontline activities, contributing to improved social safety.
