**■ Background and Rationale for Joining**

To date, the Company has promoted infrastructure DX through the analysis of acquired data, in addition to developing and providing small drones specialized for indoor facility inspections and automated patrol cameras that offer facility maintenance DX.

In recent years, in the fields of robotics and industrial IoT, the importance of optimizing the state of data has become greater than ever, in addition to the construction of a digital ecosystem by the public and private sectors.

In response to this trend, the Company has decided to participate in the Council, which is the central organization for promoting Japan's "New Robot Strategy."

The Robot Revolution & Industrial IoT Initiative is an organizational platform established under private-sector leadership to promote the "robot revolution" set forth in the "New Robot Strategy." The "New Robot Strategy" broadly defines the new concept of "robots" as general systems that perform work by making full use of advanced sensors and artificial intelligence while leveraging digitalization and networking, with the following aims. The Robot Revolution & Industrial IoT Initiative acts as an open innovation platform for a wide range of stakeholders to collaborate and take concrete actions to achieve these goals.

**■ Future Outlook**

Through this membership, the Company will focus on promoting the following initiatives to contribute to the social implementation of robotics and industrial IoT.

**・Promotion of robot utilization starting from drones/digital twins**
We will quantify the effects of robot introduction through on-site visualization, recording, and analysis, and promote the establishment of operations in actual fields.

**・Promotion of joint demonstrations and collaborations with member companies**
In collaboration with the Council's member companies, we will work to create new use cases in fields such as infrastructure inspection and facility maintenance.

**・Development of an operational loop for Physical AI**
We will consider from multiple perspectives, from the viewpoint of robot implementation, a mechanism for the smooth on-site cycle of data acquisition, learning, inference, and improvement.

**・Strengthening proposals for policies, systems, and standards**
Based on the on-site knowledge cultivated as a manufacturing company, we will actively disseminate effective requirement definitions and proposals that contribute to the promotion of the robot revolution.
