Levatech Starts Supporting the Utilization of IT Professional Talent in Saitama's Gyoda City

■ Overview

In recent years, the promotion of DX (Digital Transformation) has become an urgent task for each local government, and the securing of IT personnel responsible for the stable operation and management of administrative systems has become an important issue.

According to a survey by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, while the rate of establishing dedicated departments for promoting DX has reached 100% at the prefectural level, it remains at 54.5% for municipalities, revealing disparities in the promotion of DX among local governments. Additionally, the number of local governments that have appointed external digital specialists is limited, indicating that the utilization of personnel with specialized expertise is not progressing sufficiently (Note 1).

In particular, small and medium-sized local governments are required to secure specialized personnel responsible for system operation and management, and to build a continuous operation system within their limited personnel structure. In response to this situation, Saitama's Gyoda City, aiming to build a stable and continuous system operation and management system, has considered the utilization of external IT professional personnel.
