■ Event Overview: A Summer Challenge to Turn "I Want to Try" into "Shape"

"I want to make society a little better with my own ideas." "I want to solve familiar problems."

This event is a special stage where high school students will pitch (present) business ideas originating from their own "discoveries" and "frustrations" in school life, as a summer challenge.

【Program】

Pitch presentations by high school students: Students will present their well-thought-out business ideas and projects. This provides practical experience in conveying their thoughts in an "understandable form."

Judging and feedback: Business professionals active on the front lines of new business creation and social problem-solving will provide practical advice.

Networking session: Interact directly with peers from across the country and with startup companies and support organizations visiting as observers. Build connections and broaden perspectives beyond the school framework.

■ Presenter Application Guidelines

Target audience: High school students nationwide (all grades)

Those who want someone to hear their "ideas they want to try" and turn them into "shape."

Those interested in entrepreneurship, business, social contribution, or solving regional issues.

Number of presenters: Up to 12 teams (tentative)

Awards: Grand Prize, Excellence Award, Fighting Spirit Award, Audience Award (tentative)

Application deadline: Monday, June 22, 2026, 23:59

Special notes regarding application

No business knowledge is required. We welcome challenges from the "seed stage" of ideas before starting a business.

Team applications (up to 3 members) are also possible. The presentation on the day can be given by one representative or by multiple members taking turns.

If there are many applications, selection will be made considering the content of the entry and regional balance.

It's Sta. is a community operated by the UMEKITA Future Innovation Organization (U-FINO) where people challenging innovation—such as startups, new business development managers, financial institutions, professionals, administration, and support organizations—interact. Through events and study sessions, various people, including innovators and trailblazers essential for new industry creation, share technologies and knowledge, and by actively disseminating and engaging, aim to create an environment where those involved can co-create and grow.

UMEKITA Future Innovation Organization (U-FINO)

U-FINO aims to realize the "Fusion of 'Green' and 'Innovation'" as the urban development goal of the "Grand Green Osaka" Umekita 2nd District Development Project, and is working towards creating new industries, which is a core function of the city.
