Asakusa Kyugeki

Asakusa Kyugeki, operated by LesPros Entertainment Inc., will implement the "2nd Asakusa Kyugeki Boost Project" with the aim of further developing the theater and creating diverse projects.

To help talented creators and artists realize their "things they want to try," Asakusa Kyugeki will provide support (Boost) and solicit projects across various genres such as theater, music, comedy, and dance.

In the 1st Asakusa Kyugeki Boost Project, projects from three groups—Kiruhatotte, Kawamo Club, and Gekidan Sports—were selected and are scheduled to be performed in 2026.

This 2nd project is scheduled to be performed at the milestone of Asakusa Kyugeki's 10th anniversary.

Why not present a new work at this memorable milestone for Asakusa Kyugeki?

We sincerely await applications from all passionate individuals who "want to challenge themselves!" and "want to create new works!"

【Works to be solicited】
Works to be performed at Asakusa Kyugeki in January-February 2028

【Theater】
Asakusa Kyugeki (2nd floor, Asakusa Kyu Club, 2-16-2 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo)

【Schedule】
One week within January-February 2028
(Including setup, rehearsal, performance, and dismantling)

【Target Genres】
Theater, music, comedy, dance, and other diverse genres

【Asakusa Kyugeki Support】
- 50% subsidy for theater usage fees and incidental facility usage fees
* Electricity fees, garbage bag fees, merchandise sales commissions, and other miscellaneous expenses are not eligible for the 50% subsidy.

The following services are available only to interested groups:
- Introduction of production and technical staff
- Consultation and introduction for recording (video/photography)
- Support for creating and sending promotional releases
- Guidance for rehearsal spaces

【Application Conditions】
- The applying group or individual must have at least one past activity record (genre not specified).
- If the applying group has no activity record, a key member must have at least one past activity record.

- Playwrights, directors, actors, creators, artists, performers, producers, project planners
- Nationality/residence/age unrestricted
