Leopalace21 Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Toru Tokushige, hereinafter referred to as "Terra Charge") to properties managed by the Company in Tokyo, as part of its initiatives to realize a carbon-neutral society.
Background of Introduction
As initiatives by various local governments and companies towards achieving carbon neutrality progress and the spread of EVs accelerates, consumer interest and purchase intent for EVs is also increasing.
Based on this social background and resident needs, the Company has adopted "Terra Charge" as an EV charging service with a wealth of experience in apartment complexes and reliable operational aspects, and has been working on the installation of EV charging equipment since 2022. Subsequently, in response to the increasing spread of EVs and charging needs in apartment buildings, we have decided to fully implement and expand the service.
Overview of Initiatives
By providing an environment where EV charging is possible for properties managed by the Company in Tokyo, we aim to be a catalyst for EV purchases and improve convenience for EV users. Furthermore, by proactively installing EV charging equipment, which has few existing examples in single-occupancy properties, we will contribute to increased resident satisfaction and expect an improvement in asset value for apartment owners.
We plan to install approximately 100 buildings and over 500 charging ports in the future, with on-site surveys starting in February 2026 and EV charger installations proceeding sequentially from June onwards.
