Lenovo Announces 7 New Workstations Including ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 AMD, ThinkPad P1 Gen 9, and Liquid-Cooled ThinkStation P4

Lenovo Japan (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Taro Hiyama) announced today seven high-performance workstations: 'ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 AMD', 'ThinkPad P16s Gen 5', 'ThinkPad P1 Gen 9', 'ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 AMD', 'ThinkPad P14s Gen 7', the high-performance 'ThinkPad T1g Gen 9' (GeForce-equipped), and the 'ThinkStation P4' desktop workstation. The new ThinkPad mobile workstation series features AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 series or Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors, supporting high-load workloads such as AI processing, CAD, simulation, and video editing. All models support user-replaceable parts, including USB Type-C ports, to improve maintainability. The ThinkStation P4 is the first Lenovo workstation to feature an optional liquid cooling system. It supports AMD Ryzen PRO 9000 series processors with up to 170W TDP, achieving both high cooling performance and quiet operation. The ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 AMD is a thin and light 16-inch mobile workstation weighing from 1.75kg, featuring RJ-45 and 5G support. The ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 supports Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors and up to NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell graphics. The ThinkPad P1 Gen 9 is a 16-inch mobile workstation weighing from 1.8kg. The ThinkPad T1g Gen 9 is a high-performance notebook capable of housing NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. The ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 AMD is a 14-inch mobile workstation weighing from 1.29kg. The ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 features a 14.5-inch display. The ThinkStation P4 is a desktop workstation supporting the latest AMD Ryzen PRO 9000 series processors. As Lenovo's first liquid-cooled workstation, it offers superior cooling and silence. In liquid-cooled models, heat from the CPU and GPU is efficiently dissipated through circulating coolant. Testing at 25°C under 100% CPU load showed CPU temperatures kept between 80-86°C, with up to 4dB(A) noise reduction compared to air cooling.
