Lenovo Japan LLC (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Taro Hiyama, hereinafter "Lenovo") today announced 10 models as the latest lineup of the "ThinkPad" series.
The new lineup has been evolved with a focus on portability, connectivity, usability, and maintainability as a work tool to support productivity improvement in the AI era.
In terms of portability, in addition to the lightweight design of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 Aura Edition and ThinkPad X13 Gen 7, which are under 999g at their lightest configuration, we have advanced optimization for hybrid work with the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7, which starts at approx. 1.07kg (approx. 170g lighter than the previous generation), and the ThinkPad T14 Gen 7, starting at approx. 1.27kg (approx. 110g lighter than the previous generation). To support the realization of working from anywhere from the perspective of work tools, all products can be customized with built-in 5G or 4G LTE. In addition, it also supports Lenovo ConnectIN, which comes with unlimited 5G / 4G LTE data communication capacity for corporate users for up to 5 years.
From the perspective of usability, the ThinkPad X1 series, ThinkPad T series, and ThinkPad X13 Detachable Gen 1 incorporate USB Type-C ports capable of receiving power from both the left and right sides of the chassis. Also, the ThinkPad X1 series and T series adopt a newly designed keyboard that reduces noise and impact when typing. Furthermore, in addition to the ThinkPad X1 series and ThinkPad X13, a one-hand open mechanism has been newly implemented in the ThinkPad T series.
As a commitment to maintainability, which can be said to be the DNA of ThinkPad, the ThinkPad T series adopts a design in which the USB Type-C port can be replaced by the user themselves, contributing to the reduction of maintenance costs and downtime during the operation period. Each of the newly introduced ThinkPad models is scheduled to be released sequentially starting April 7, 2026.
## Flagship Mobile for the AI Era: "ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 Aura Edition"
By adopting a space frame, which is a new generation mechanical design, it is a flagship mobile notebook PC that balances a 14-inch large screen and portability starting at approx. 977g in its lightest configuration, while enabling the installation of an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor with built-in Intel Arc B390. In addition, by making it possible to select a new 10-megapixel MIPI camera with a viewing angle of approx. 110 degrees, it provides a high-quality video conferencing experience.
