## Seminar Details
Inventions referred to as 'strong patents' versus those that are not. Where does this difference arise in research and development?
This seminar will discuss the 'three common trends' in 'strong patents,' based on experience in IP practices across different industries and business phases, including major automotive manufacturers, IT mega-ventures, and entertainment startups.
Strong patents share common characteristics, regardless of industry or organizational size. For example, we will explore the intersection of R&D and IP practices from perspectives such as:
* Why strong patents are born early in the R&D process
* Why strong patents emerge from researchers' 'common sense'
* Why strong patents arise from 'challenges' in R&D
This seminar will provide an opportunity for both R&D professionals and IP managers to reconsider 'what constitutes a strong patent.'
## Recommended for:
* Those involved in R&D who tend to postpone patent activities
* Those struggling with how to organize invention ideas
* Those experiencing challenges in collaborating with IP departments
* Those who want to understand the difference between strong and weak patents
* Those who want to learn the perspective of considering IP from the R&D stage
* Those interested in AI-powered IP practices
## What you will gain from the seminar:
* 'Three common trends' in strong patents
* The importance of conducting IP activities during the R&D stage
* Real-world success and failure cases
* The concept of organizing inventions based on 'problem-solving'
* How to find 'patent seeds' that researchers often overlook
* Practical image of AI-powered invention organization and patent search
