Patent searches have traditionally been supported by specialized skills such as search formulas and classification design.
On the other hand, in R&D sites, it is common to start from a state where inventions are not organized, or what should be searched is unclear, resulting in a lot of time spent in the 'pre-process' before entering the actual search.
This seminar focuses on this pre-process and introduces the practical flow up to 'Invention Organization -> Prior Art Search -> Invention Proposal Creation' utilizing MyTokkyo.Ai.
Even from invention memos or technical explanation level information, AI organizes and structures it based on patent information, connecting it to a form that can be utilized for searches and internal reviews.
Also, in searches, the AI can visualize what perspectives (keywords, patent classifications) were used to conduct the investigation, allowing connection with conventional practices.
The seminar will explicitly explain practical usage methods based on the premise that AI handles the search and organization, while the final judgment is made by experts.
[Recommended for]
- Those who want to utilize R&D ideas for patents
- Those taking time to organize inventions
- Those having communication issues with the IP department
- Those wanting to do patent searches themselves
- Those wanting to adopt AI in business but lacking a clear image of its utilization
[What you will learn]
- How to connect invention memos to patent searches
- Specific processes of invention organization using AI
- How to proceed with prior art searches (AI utilization)
- The series of workflows up to creating invention proposals
- Practical ways to connect R&D and IP
