LECIP Corporation (hereinafter "LECIP"), a consolidated subsidiary of LECIP HOLDINGS Corporation (Headquarters: Motosu City, Gifu Prefecture, President: Makoto Sugimoto), will continue to supply "LECIP CMP (Content Management Platform)" (hereinafter: LECIP CMP) and its related application "Shizuoka FUJI NAVI App" as an entry management system for the climbing routes on the Shizuoka Prefecture side (Fujinomiya, Gotemba, Subashiri routes). For operation in fiscal year 2026, LECIP will provide a system with numerous new functions, including the realization of smooth operability where all procedures can be completed within the app, expansion of map information and weather display for climbing routes, and reinforcement of on-site reception management functions. This system aims to balance countermeasures against overtourism on Mt. Fuji with a safe and comfortable climbing experience for climbers, contributing to the protection of World Heritage Site Mt. Fuji and sustainable tourism.

Background of Continued Adoption

Mt. Fuji, a World Cultural Heritage Site, attracts many climbers from Japan and overseas due to its beautiful scenery and sacred charm. However, in recent years, overtourism, including congestion during sunrise, "bullet climbing" at night, and etiquette violations, has become serious, posing major challenges for environmental load and ensuring climber safety. In Shizuoka Prefecture, to solve these issues and in conjunction with the enforcement of the Shizuoka Prefecture Mt. Fuji Climbing Ordinance in fiscal year 2025, the introduction of an entry management system was considered, and this system was adopted last year. With the full-scale implementation in fiscal year 2025, the smooth operation and improved convenience for climbers were highly evaluated, leading to the continued adoption of the "Shizuoka FUJI NAVI App" for fiscal year 2026.

Main New Functions and Improvements of the 2026 Version "FUJI NAVI App"

This fiscal year, with the aim of improving convenience for climbers and reducing the operational burden on the management side (on-site staff), the following new functions have been added.

[Improved convenience and safety for climbers]

1. Seamless app-integrated procedures

Procedures that previously went through the WEB site (QUICK TRIP) have been reviewed, and all procedures from pre-registration to payment can now be completed solely within the app.

2. Account linkage and distribution function for entry passes (QR codes)

The accounts for "Shizuoka FUJI NAVI App" and "QUICK TRIP" have been unified, and a function has been added to smoothly distribute entry passes (QR codes) obtained by the representative to accompanying climbers from within the app.

3. Update of map information and current location display

The map function now displays the altitude of the current location and the estimated time required to reach the destination on the three main routes.

4. Display of Mt. Fuji weather information within the app

Information from "Imafuji.", which delivers real-time weather information for Mt. Fuji, is now displayed within the "Shizuoka FUJI NAVI App," allowing users to quickly check weather conditions.

[Enhanced functions for administrators and on-site staff]

1. Digitization of entry forms for on-site payments

A function has been added to digitize entry forms for climbers paying on-site by scanning them with the dedicated app's camera.

2. Real-time management of entry numbers and output of reports

Entry data received on-site is also reflected in the system, enabling accurate grasp of entry numbers and support for outputting business reports.
