LINE Digital Frontier Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Masataka Takahashi) announced today, July 3 (Fri), that the TV anime adaptation of the original webtoon "ELECEED" (Original Story: SJH, Art: ZHENA), available on our e-comic service "LINE Manga" https://manga.line.me/, is scheduled to broadcast in early 2027. The first main promotional video (PV) and cast information have also been released.

"LINE Manga" will be holding a campaign offering the first 130 chapters of the original work for free starting July 3 (Fri).

"ELECEED" (Original Story: SJH, Art: ZHENA) began serialization on "LINE Manga" in October 2020. This original webtoon is a coming-of-age story with action-packed ability battles, focusing on a kind-hearted young man who hides his powers and his growth as he meets and trains with others who possess abilities. The series is distributed in 10 languages worldwide and has garnered global support, with a cumulative readership of 1.75 billion views (※1).

The TV anime adaptation of "ELECEED" is set to broadcast in early 2027. Today, the first main anime PV and information on the main character voice cast have been unveiled.

Junya Enoki has been cast as the protagonist Yuha Kazehaya, a reserved young man who avoids interacting with others. Tasuku Hatanaka will voice Jin Kaidoh, a mysterious Awakened who transfers into Yuha's class. Setsuji Sato will play Dr. Delaine, a genius scientist obsessed with mad research. Hayato Dojima will portray Sota Yanagi, a cocky and confident delinquent Awakened who attends the same high school as Yuha. Shizuka Ito will voice Amame Yanagi, the young representative leading "Myth," one of the largest Awakened organizations in the country. A star-studded voice cast has been assembled.

To commemorate the new information about the TV anime, "LINE Manga" is currently running a campaign from today, July 3 (Fri), to July 16 (Thu), offering an increased number of free chapters, up to chapter 130, for the original "ELECEED" manga.

Yuha is kind and doesn't seem strong at first glance, but he has a lot of grit inside, making him a character that's satisfying to voice.

【Jin Kaidoh (CV: Tasuku Hatanaka)】

This is Tasuku Hatanaka, playing Jin Kaidoh.

The passion put into this work is incredible... Just thinking about recording the realistic human movements from the motion capture actors and then recreating them in animation is a tremendous amount of effort...! It made me feel a sense of responsibility for this production...!

It's a new experience for me to play such a cool character like Jin, and although I was exploring, thinking about his humanity and his underlying motivations was a very interesting time.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of work it becomes! I'd be happy if everyone could watch ELECEED! Thank you!

【Dr. Delaine (CV: Setsuji Sato)】

This is Setsuji Sato!

The production process for this work is amazing!

First, the motion capture actors perform, it's turned into CG, then we voice actors act along with the CG, and finally, the animators draw and finish the visuals based on that...!

It's such a luxurious production, you wonder, "How much love and effort are they putting into this?!" (lol)

And the voice acting team, led by Enoki-san, is the best! Everyone's acting is wonderful!

I have many scenes with Hatanaka-san, but he gently ignores my chaotic acting (lol) because it makes me laugh (lol).

There are many other unique cast members too! We're recording as a friendly team (lol).

But after all that, what I really want to say is...

The cat (? voice) is cute!

【Sota Yanagi (CV: Hayato Dojima)】

I'm Hayato Dojima, and I'll be voicing Sota Yanagi.

Sota is quite competitive, aggressive, and blunt, but there's a certain straightforwardness about him, and moments where he can't be completely honest, and a rare glimpse of his good nature that makes him somehow endearing and cute. That's the kind of delinquent he is.

To portray him faithfully, I always strive to act as honestly and directly as possible.

In addition to the innovative visual approach that conveys the passion of the production staff, every character is charming, and I'm giving my all in every recording session with the wonderful cast members. I'm also very much looking forward to the broadcast.

【Amame Yanagi (CV: Shizuka Ito)】

I'm Shizuka Ito, and I'll be playing Amame Yanagi.

Playing her, a highly skilled and cool beauty, makes me feel stronger myself, so it's a rewarding role (lol).

At first, I was a bit hesitant because the visuals during the ADR sessions were a bit unusual, but I'm enjoying the recording sessions, being pulled along by the boldness of Yuha and the other eccentric characters. I hope you will enjoy it.

About the TV Anime "ELECEED"

In the shadows of the modern world, there exists a society of people with superhuman abilities known as "Awakened," along with their associations and organizations.
